Re-enrolment in thesis
Step 1 - Pedagogical re-enrolment
The pedagogical re-enrolment is done at the doctoral training centre - Antenne UHA of the Collège doctoral de site.
Send the documents to the UHA Antenna of the Collège doctoral de site by email:
- for doctoral students in the Exact sciences (ED 182, 222, 269), to ed.sciences@uha.fr, specifying in the subject "Pedagogical registration ED-SE-DX-Name-Surname",
- for doctoral students in the Humanities and social sciences (ED 101, 221, 519, 520), to ed.shs@uha.fr, specifying in the subject "Pedagogical registration ED-SHS-DX-Name-Surname".
For a D2 re-enrolment, here is the list of documents to be transmitted:
- the file for re-registration in PhD,
- the certificate of completion of the MOOC scientific integrity (PDF file),
- your individual training agreement (CIF) signed by all the parts (without this document no re-registration can be considered !),
- the proof of funding, indicating the source of funding, its monthly amount and its duration.
For a D3 re-registration, the thesis re-registration package must include:
- the file for re-registration in PhD,
- the PIF updated and validated by your PhD supervisor,
- the CIF updated and validated by your PhD supervisor (in case of changes),
- your CST (comité de suivi de thèse) report signed by all parties if the defence is planned after December 31st 2022,
- the proof of funding, indicating the source of funding, its monthly amount and its duration.

- for doctoral students in the Exact sciences (ED 182, 222, 269), at ed.sciences@uha.fr, specifying in the subject "Pedagogical registration ED-SE-DX-Name-Surname",
- for doctoral students in the Humanities and social sciences (ED 101, 221, 519, 520), at ed.shs@uha.fr, specifying in the subject "Pedagogical registration ED-SHS-DX-Name-Surname".
Documents to be transmitted :
- the file for re-registration in PhD,
- a letter of motivation from the thesis director (reasons for the delay, progress of the work, provisional date of defence),
- the PIF updated and validated by your thesis director,
- the CIF updated and validated by your TD (in case of changes),
- a new CST (comité de suivi de thèse) CS report signed by all parties if the defence is planned after December 31st 2022,
- the proof of funding, indicating the source of funding, its monthly amount and its duration,
- the application form for derogatory admission,
N.B.: derogatory admissions are validated, after examination of each application, by the Doctoral commission concerned.
Doctorat students defending their thesis between October 1st and December 31st must submit their pedagogical re-registration file, but will not have to pay the registration fee.
Documents to be transmitted:
- the jury proposal (with the date of defence) validated by the pedagogical commission and signed by the director of the ED,
- the application form for registration with exemption - the certificate of defense before December 31st,
- the summary of the thesis,
- the list of publications,
- the last CST report,
- the funding certificate.
Once the pre-registration is validated, you don't have no longer administrative process to perform (no CVEC fees, no administrative registration).
Step 2 - Administrative re-enrolment
If you are re-registering (you were already registered at UHA in 2021-2022), you can register online.
- Before registering at the Université de Haute-Alsace, you must regularize your situation regarding the student life and campus contribution (CVEC) to obtain your certificate and your CVEC code. The obligatory contribution amounts to 95€.

Online payment of tuition fees is made at the end of the procedure, the third debit. Before you start, you will need to bring with you:
- your student number which appears on your student card,
- your CVEC number indicated on your certificate of payment,
- a valid bank card,
- a valid email address so that you can obtain an acknowledgement of receipt of your online payment. - Once you have registered, you will need to submit the required documents, the list of which will appear on your registration summary via the link PJ Web.
- A manager checks the information entered, the conformity of the documents submitted and, if your file is complete, validates your registration. You will then receive an automatic notification on your @uha.fr address and you will receive your registration receipt by post.
