1) If you would like to register with UHA :

Campus France has created an online registration procedure for certain countries. If you have a diploma from a foreign country and you are from a country outside the EU where there are some CEF (Centres pour les Etudes en France : Centres for studies in France), then you MUST follow this procedure , no matter what the academic level concerned. Refer to the procedure and the countries as cited on the Campus France website.

Other cases (candidates from EU countries, candidates from countries out of the EU where there are no CEF, candidates living abroad holding a french baccalauréat or future baccalauréat holders). Refer to the procedure as cited on the Campus France website.

Please note that there are new procedures for new incomers (except for Algerian citizens who will have to submit a residency permit request).
Since June 1st 2009, you don’t have to first submit a residency file request. You will be given a long stay visa.
However, you will have to follow a procedure within the first three months after your arrival in France, depending on what you were told at the consulate.
